Fishing at Opononi
I said to dad i can't wait to caught and fish.
Me and my dad went over to the wharf throw our line out to then and few minutes later my dad was standing on the side of the wharf then he dropped his jandal he gave his fishing rod to Shilane and i gave my rod to Myer took my pants off and my T shirt off then jumped in the salt water it was so freezing like then the water went straight up my nose then through my eyes it was so sore i quickly climbed back t it was so cold .later on then my dad got his jandle.
And few minutes later there was some people came over to the wharf to have and fish.I felt my rod tugging it was pulling me back and forwards like I was on and bull rocking back and forward.some people said go boy
so i pull it back then reel it in. my dad done the rest he reel it in heaps of people look down when he was reeling it up he said it was and trevally i took it over to the truck and my mum took and photo.
I thought that was the coolest day at the beach. here is and photo of my fish up the top.
